The above link is to the intrepid weblogger who first introduced the event back in 2003. On his page is the logo for this year’s event, hosted by A Broad Abroad. And by “hosted,” I just mean “shamelessly promoted,” – kind of like I’m doing here.

Oh, I am so down with this.
Damn i wish i had caught that in time.
I had a flatmate who came home in the wee small hours one night and left me a note. The following morning i was obliged to enquire if she had had more than a couple of creme de menthes as she had managed to slur her words in the note 
Damn, I missed this one. And it was Saturday night, and everything.
Alas, I was sober and did little writing. Bummer.

Alas, I had to pass because I can’t write drunk. I’ve thought about it, but the worry that I’d puke on the keyboard intervenes, and I haven’t the hand-eye coordination drunk to do it by hand.
