Tony Robbins Motivator Question

I notice Tony Robbins is back on tv lately and now instead of the 30-day program to better body, better career, and better relationships, etc., he has the 7-day program for the already busy person. Everyone is cheering in the audience, and he is waving his arms enthusiastically. You send away for tapes I think it is and follow instructions. Is this program any good? Important celebrities are on giving testimonials, and it even enables you to lose weight. How can one tell whether to purchase this program to get motivated or somebody else’s?
And if you just get out of it what YOU put into it, then why bother to get it in the first place?
I mean everybody always already knows that one should get busy, eat right, exercise, stay active, concentrate, etc.

The ‘secret’ to motivational speakers is that they get you ‘motivated’ by presenting an idea in a new and interesting way. They also know that people continually look for and pay for ‘new and interesting ways’ instead of doing the work needed to get the idea done in the first place.
So you’ve got this endless cycle of people addicted to ‘motivation’ and never moving ahead. That’s pure cash in Tony’s pocket, so he’ll just keep changing his schtick ever so slightly and re-packaging it forever as long as the seminars are booked and the cash rolls in.

And he’ll keep buying those god-awful toupees.
