From the Mars Global Surveyor. I think this kind of stuff is so neat, our planet from another one. Kind of makes you feel even smaller yet, in the big scheme of things.

Link to more original version, includes Jupiter!
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool.
I’m reminded of the photo of the Earth taken by the crew of, I believe it was Apollo 17. You know, the one that is referred to as The Blue Marble.
That is very cool.
Keen!
That’ll bend your brain pretty good.
Dam’! I had my eyes closed!
I wonder how it would compare to one actually taken from the surface of Mars, one that would truly show what a Martian’s view would be. Shot from orbit, the atmospheric effects might be more or less depending. Still, it’s an awesome sight. Thanks for the link!
Thank you bernse, for the links.
I could stare at the pictures all morning. We’ve all seen pics of Venus or Jupiter - slightly blurry, only the side toward the sun visible. It’s just so amazing to see the Earth the same way, as just another ball in space.
I can see myself!
Yeah, that rocks. I wanna go, I wanna go!
Kind of blurry.
So, can we have your liver then?
Alec, I’ll take “Interesting posts in the wrong thread” for a thousand please.
Errr… at least I hope that’s the case.
NO! I kinda need it!
Words fail me. It’s just, well, really neat.

I feel so insignifigant. … 'Course, I always feel insignifigant."

That is Extremely Neat.
Call me biased, but that’s the best damn looking planet in the Solar System.
