too early for beer

It’s 5am and I’ve been awake all night. Can’t sleep…going to a BBQ later today. I’ve filled up on coffee. yech… Water ehh…just get’s old. Don’t have anything else in the house. So I popped the top on my second beer this morning.
Anyone else drink beer this early in the day. I’m not really a beer drinker. So this to me isn’t really drinking. Now around noon or so I expect to have a few margaritas. Then go to shots around sundown.
So is it too soon to start now?

Wanna join me? Gonna have plenty of meat on the grill and will probably last all weekend.

at any time in the morning it is always early evening somewhere else on the planet.

Thus it is never to early for beer.

I love beer in the morning. I think it tastes better.

If it was Friday or Saturday, I used to drink half a beer before going to bed and let it sit out all night, and drink the rest when I got up in the morning. Drink it before brushing your teeth. It’s all bitter and warm and perfect.

Nowadays, I don’t do that too much. But I do enjoy a little beer and coffee if I’m having an egg sandwich or steak and eggs or something.

People will say to me, “well, it’s noon somewhere,” and I tell them, “it’s a lot easier if you don’t even have that rule”.

It’s never too early for beer. But I find that it depends on circumstance.

Right now, it’s too early for beer for me. I’m early at work and I need coffee. But once, after working all night to meet a deadline and finishing up at 5:00 a.m., a beer was just what I wanted. So I had one.

Hey, if you feel like a beer, go for it. Heck, have two. But it’s probably not a good idea to be drinking numerous beers for the rest of the morning if you’re planning to get into the margaritas and shots later in the day.

In the morning I only drink after I’ve brushed my teeth.

The shakes make the brushing easier

In the words of that great philosopher, Alan Jackson:

“It’s only half past twelve but I don’t care
It’s five o’clock somewhere.”

Beer on your Rice Crispies…

Snap Crackle Buuuuurp!

I’ve always found stouts to be the best breakfast beer. Not much alcohol, smooth, filling and relaxing. By noon I usually move to a nice crisp wheat beer or Lager however.

Get a night job. It’s hard for anyone to bitch about an “off the midder shitter” when you’ve been working since 6:30 p.m.

Beer-it’s not just for breakfast anymore :stuck_out_tongue:
