Too stupid for words

Can anyone top this?

Meet Shane Walker. Last Tuesday, the Charleston, West Virginia woman contacted cops to say that her boyfriend had stolen her marijuana stash. Normally, that’s not something you share with the fuzz. But Walker apparently really wanted those 3.5 ounces back. As a result Walker spent her 25th birthday in the local lockup and is facing a felony possession charge, according to this amusing criminal complaint. (3 pages)

Okay, that’s hilarious. I can understand how someone stealing your weed can be upsetting … but showing the cops more of it? “Here’s my weed … see how much is missing?” And how does one press charges for Grand Theft Cannabis?

I’ve only seen someone stupider on the one episode I’ve seen of Cops. Said cops were busting some guy for domestic abuse, and some drunk idiot with three teeth, no shirt, and a beer in his hand walked right up to the cops and said something to the effect of “So, what are you doing?”

Next shot is the cops sitting the handcuffed beer-drinker down on the curb next to the handcuffed guy they had originally come to get.

No cite, but the cops in my parents’ hometown got a call from a guy reporting a theft. Of some (not all) of his marijuana plants.
The cops went RIGHT OVER to take care of the issue for him.

We have one in my hometown that got busted for having a meth lab in his basement.
As soon as he got out of jail on parole, he started one again. Same house. Got busted and tossed back in jail less than a week after he got out.
He’s done it THREE TIMES now.

What law did the drunken shirtless guy break?? Is it illegal to walk around with an open beer or something, and do they actually cuff your for it?

I swear to God, people get more stupid every day.

I saw that episode and I believe they arrested him for carrying a beer and drunk in public. He was walking down the sidewalk of a public street. Yes, they put cuffs on him.

Yes. In most cities, it is illegal to be on a public street with an open intoxicant. Also, public intoxication is usually a crime. But, as here, the cops tend not to notice unless you blast them with your reeking breath.
