Phil Hendrie used to have a show in Minneapolis about 6-7 years ago. He was fired from WCCO because he annoyed all of the “regular listeners” ( old people) I was working nights when my then-boyfriend told me to tune in. I listened to it regularly. I called in frequently. I ended up scamming Phil, by calling in as my own character, Absinthe-- a nature-girl-stoned-out hippie type. I let the joke go on for a few weeks when I finally clued him in, off the air.
Phil was pretty clever then. Evidently, he has lowered his humor a bit.
when we finally met in person, neither of us was impressed. 
Radio lends mystery, I guess.
