Ow. I thought the Clash one was hard, but this is ridiculous.

Radio, Radio
Riot Act (demo version)
Charm School
Jack of All Parades
I Want You
Jacksons, Monk And Rowe

And these are the ones I had to jettison to get down to six:
(What’s So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding?
Little Atoms
My Dark Life

I’m deliberately leaving out covers here, or I’d have to decide between Days and Withered and Died and half of “Almost Blue.” Damn, this is a hard one…

Kinda like the Clash, I could easily have come up with a dozen other selections.

Actually, this is news to me–wow, that’s extremely nice of you. A couple questions:

(1) What happens when the #1 vote-getter is a tie? I notice that applies to the recent Alice Cooper poll and, no doubts, others in the past. Will there be a tie-breaker to determine which cut makes the CD?

(2) Are you going to organize the CDs in alpha order or in some other way (chronologically, say)? Or is it way too early to be thinking about that?

And once again, natch, great job!

  1. Indoor Fireworks
  2. Seven Day Weekend
  3. Brilliant Mistake
  4. Watching the Detectives

oops that was 5… add Oliver’s Army

Radio Silence

Shipbuilding
My Mood Swings
Indoor Fireworks

I had a lot of trouble with this, so I tried to span his career. I’m not familiar with his 90’s stuff, so there’s nothing from there, but I think this is a pretty good list nonetheless.

This was almost as hard as The Beatles 6@6.
