We hear so much of bad service, I thought it was time for a well done.
I ordered some moderately expensive wine (> £20 per bottle) from Amazon. The first bottle I opened was bad, the second very poor, and the third was also bad. None were near the taste of previous purchases. Other wines in the delivery were fine. I wrote to Amazon asking them to let the seller know to check the rest of their stock of this vintage, as one duff bottle is to be expected now and then, but three is a different matter. Now, alcohol being alcohol and wine being a consumable, I did not expect a refund - and said so when I contacted them - but they’ve given me a full refund. Wholly unexpected, and much appreciated.
So well done Amazon.
