Totally efficient diet w/no waste?

Is it possible to create a diet in which the person produces no urine or feces?

I thought of this while perusing the vitamin aisle. We’re able to extract so many little kinds of goodness from natural sources, so is it possible to extract (or synthesize) all the necessary daily nutrient and condense them into a pill or two, without all the extra crap in them? And then, is it possible to make in such a precise measurements so that no feces/urine would be produced?

Obviously, it can’t be perfect all the time, as there are different nutrient requirements based on each person and amount of exercise done in a given day.

I think we did this a couple of weeks ago(I am not great with links), but…part of your feces is bacteria(which you require for metabolism) and tissue that your body naturally gets rid of. So that takes care of the feces issue. Urine is your body’s way of disposing of the nitrogenous waste produced because of your metabolism…as in, there are by products that you must rid yourself of, and if they are not “watered down” they would wreak havoc with your lower GI tract. So. to answer your question…no.

It’s impossible to produce zero feces, due to wastes made by bacteria in your gut.

It’s also very unhealthy not to piss. because that’s the way your body gets rid of ammonia-type compounds made by your metabolism. Generally a bad thing to build up in your body. Never mind that in order not to piss, you have to stop drinking water entirely, and sweat al excess water out, and just lie around doing nothing. The latter two are exclusive of eachother.

It’s possible to have a low-feces diet, but I highly recommend drinking 3 glasses of water with every meal, plus more when you’re thirsty.
