Tough music questions

I’ve asked around several places and have had no luck finding an answer. You all are my last hope with these.

  1. An 80’s techno group, Utah Saints, had a song that featured sampling from the film “Running Man”, with Richard Dawson saying “Who loves you, and who do you love?”. Does anyone have any idea the title of this?

  2. There was an early 80’s new wave song that sounded a bit like Nik Kershaw (of “Wouldn’t It Be Good” fame). I forget most of the lyrics, but know of these: “There’s two kinds of people in this world, living, dying, I lost my powers in this world…” and the chorus goes “As I go, in-sane, like I al-ways do, can I know your name, I said I, I like you”. Does anyone know the title and/or artist to this?

Thank you, with these answers I can maybe sleep again someday =)

I have an answer for #1. It wasn’t Utah Saints, it was Messiah. The song is called “Temple of Dreams” and it’s from their album “21st Century Jesus.”

Sounds like Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac fame.

Here’s a link for ya.

Big fat link

Yup, that’s Lindsey Buckingham. The song is called Go Insane and appears on an album of the same name.

That Lindsey Buckingham album didn’t sell very well, but I thought it was a really good one.
