The last time I was in the Crescent City, my tour guide drove us past Toujac’s and pointed out that at this restaurant, the menu is: whatever the chef felt like cooking today.
Seems like a pretty limited menu, but there was a line out the door! Must be damned good food. I would have tried it, but I can barely stomach black table pepper, so Creole cookin’ was out.
Who has eaten at Toujac’s? And, are there similar restaurants in other locales throughout the world that you know of/have been to? How is their business?
