I don’t know if she’s able, but I was kinda hoping Lady Gaga would do her part in Spanish.

MAGA's Halftime Show Gets Knee-Capped Before It Airs
The Kid Rock-led show got cut in half just hours before it was set to begin.
I don’t know if she’s able, but I was kinda hoping Lady Gaga would do her part in Spanish.
Don’t they do counting other ways, too?
Still the impact of half the world watching it might be good optics.
Trump won’t like it.
(ETA. I see you answered it already)
Nielsen? Not really, as I understand it, and they are really the only game in town, as far as television ratings in the U.S.
Regardless, the answer is still, very likely: unless you have been recruited to participate in a viewership panel (and you would know it if you were), what you watch isn’t going to be captured in the ratings.
Did anybody see the show?
Thx. I watched anyway.
I think I was right but I also have no idea what was being said.
They did seem to bleep out one bit of Green Day’s song.
Anybody wonder about the electric lineman and it’s significance?
I wanted him to throw paper towel so bad.
I watched the official halftime show, and I can only guess that what has Republicans so flustered is the Español.
Too fucking bad. Learn Spanish if you want to understand it. You’re superior, aren’t you? Should be a walk in the park.
Did anyone watch Kid Rock?
Funny you should mention that:
“UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X,” the organization said of its MAGA alternative to Bad Bunny’s main event.

The Kid Rock-led show got cut in half just hours before it was set to begin.
Is the TPUSA show on any actual broadcast or cable channels?
One of my coworkers posted on the Book of Faces that the TPUSA would broadcast their show on one of the Xfinity channels in the local area. But I do not know if that even happened.
I just saw that the viewers peaked at 250,000. Of course, The Onion has tossed in their two cents.

Funny you should mention that:
You got ninja’d way back.

Hey Bad Bunny, don’t you be lumping Canada in as Americans! Not Americans, never will be, and doing that is carrying water for Trump.
He was listing all the countries in the Americas (maybe he missed a few of the smaller ones, I’m not too sure), not lumping Canada in with the USA.
Are there any reviews of the show mentioned in the title of this thread?

Related, really. The knockdown of the entire power grid after Hurricane Maria was of epic scale and 8 and a half years later that’s still getting felt thus the track “Apagón” (Blackout) was written, and was included in the set today as one of his hits. A very “insider” thing for we the hometown audience.
I finally found a review that compared the two shows…and the TPUSA show does not look good at all:

Here’s another recap:
Kid Rock Headlines TPUSA’s MAGA Halftime Show: Recap
Rock finally came out in the last few minutes, sporting a black shirt and shorts, starting a two song set with “Bawitdaba.” He didn’t sing much of the song himself, though, as the recording played in the background. After an extended performance from a string duo, Rock, introduced again as Robert Ritchie and now wearing slacks, came out again, performing a cover of Cody Johnson’s “Til You Can’t.”
