Trading Spaces 5/31, or Vern Waits Until the Last Minute

I would have felt bad for them, except: they parlayed their friendship with Laurie into getting onto the show, and getting their bathroom done (a first). And their bathroom (which they scammed into being done in the first place) really didn’t need much help. Thus I had a hearty laugh, as their gaming of the system got them a horrid bathroom.

There is something particulary sweet in watching an obnoxious homeowner get a crappy room. The one downer was the Tiffany Box room (bbaby blue with the horrid white swirls, remember?)- those homeowners were the worst, and they ruined my glee by actually liking the room. Annoying and bad taste-- yeesh how did they get on the show. . .

On what planet is interior design considered a man’s industry???

I don’t know. But when we figure that out, we’ll have cracked the mystery of what planet Kia is from!

ivylass you can put your “or” creation in the body of the post like you op. where we can all admire it. i’ve enjoyed all of them so far.

i think interior design= man, interior decorating = woman. i know in the firm i work at the men in the interior department are taken a bit more seriously than the women. it tends to drive the women out of the firm and into firms that are women run and interior only. it really is a shame, some of them are very talented and intellegent, but heavens, they hit the glass block ceiling at some firms.

I second that.
