Trafacant and Hair

Who does this guys hair? They should go to prison with him.

According to our local NOrthern Ohio talk radio, he goes to his own barber.

Hard to belief his wife is a professional hairdresser, and he is allowed out in public like that.

His spiffy fashion sense does a lot to make up for the hair.

oy vey!!

Please tell me that’s a rug. Please.

Guin, ask yourself honestly if a wigmaker could stay in business turning out product that looked like that. No, only natural hair can attain that…unique quality.

If he’s completely kicked out, I think Pantene could really cash in by featuring him in a campaign.

I’m with Guin. I don’t want to believe it’s real.

Maybe a wigmaker made a toupee for somebody with a (really!) small head; a baby, perhaps. This guy buys one and it’s too small to actually fit, so it just sits on top there.

Maybe it’s part of a child-sized Tom Brokaw costume.

Wahahahahaha! I saw that guy on CNN or something the other night! I had no idea who he was, but he was all worked up and jabbed his finger at the camera and huffed “And the gov’mint and the FBI can go to HELL!” It was quite a bit of entertaining news, actually.

As for the hair, I just stared openmouthed a bit. I think it was just the shock. I was sure it was a rug. I remember wondering if he actually has a wife who lets him out of the house looking lke that.

Mr. Traficant will apparently be expelled from the House. Next, I hope, Mrs. Trafficant will have her cosmotology license revoked.

Hey. Hey!

I live in Akron OH. We lost a Congressional seat this year. I am now gerrymandered into a district 60 miles away that is this rugfucks district. He may yet run for re-election. And be re-elected. He comes from a somewhat [cough, cough]mafia controlled area[/cough, cough]. They like him.

I literally may have no representation next year when he represents me from jail.

Talk about a bad-hair day.

Pray for me.

It looks like he combs his hair with an egg whisk.

He will most likely be re-elected if he runs, and I know a lot of people that will vote for him. By the way, I live in New Middletown, Ohio, and he is our represenative too.

mudshark Sounds like we need to drink a beer or two.

I am available any Monday and most Sat. nights. My address is available in my profile.

Has he never seen a picture of himself?

Yikes! I just read your profile and realize that you are a high-school student.

Obviously you don’t drink. [wink, wink, nudge nudge]. I’ll still be glad to buy you a sasparilla at your local watering hole.

Better yet, maybe I’ll get my ass in gear and try to drum up a Northern-Ohio Dope.

My last ploy to try to get tomndebb to commit to such a venture went unanswered.

Perhaps calling upon Uncle Beer for help will work .

There is hope samclem. Traficant could be sent to federal jail, which would prohibit him from running for Congress because you have to live in the state you’re running in. Furthermore, you have Timmy Ryan running, he’s rated as a good bet to win by most of the Washington publications I’ve seen, but I’m not sure if they really know how popular Traficant is in some parts.

I’ll bet that he can run from jail no matter where they put him.

As many Senators/Representatives will tell you, they run from districts where they maintain a residence, but don’t actually live there.

It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Nope. You have to be a citizen of the state. Sure, many Congressmen live in other places in the state, or have token residences so they can live in Washington (If you have a family this makes life much easier for you even if you catch some flak from the voters), but they must have a residence there. Traficant would be a full-time resident of another state if put in federal jail, so he’d be ineligible.

No one is a “citizen of the state.” Traffican could run from our Congressional district if he had a flop-house apartment here. If they gave him 20 years in the pokey, he can run al long as he owns property in this district and calls it home.

Better hope he gets sent to Leavenworth or Marion and that his appeal dies quickly. If this did happen and he won as a write-in the seat would be declared vacant and they’d have a special election a few months after it.
