Just found this trailer for Falling Skies, the newest TV series produced (but not written/directed) by Steven Spielberg, starting June of 2011.
Although I like Spielberg, and think if he has a hand in it, it could be good - this trailer doesn’t really impress me. Once again, most scenes so dark it looks like it was lit with a pen light. Also, the story sounds strangely like about 30 other recent TV series with the bad ol’ aliens creating an apocalyptic world on earth, and Jim Bob and his buddies fight them off with shotguns…
I might be wrong, but this doesn’t really get me all that excited - maybe/hopefully it will be better than the trailer seems to indicate.
