I take Androgel every day for hormone replacement therapy. I’ve got hypogonadism and I don’t make any more of my own testosterone anymore.
It’s applied around the shoulder and arm areas and the testosterone is absorbed through the skin.
I also have a large tattoo on my right arm and I’ve wondered if this will influence the way the medication is absorbed.
The patient information sheet for the drug is silent on this issue. Anybody got any info?
