Forgive me if this has already been done (I searched but found nought) but today the two surviving miners trapped 1000 metres underground for nearly two weeks were finally brought up, alive and relatively unscathed by their ordeal!!
And they made it out just in time to attend their mate’s funeral who was killed in the mine in the first rockfalls.
Australia has had little else to talk about for the past couple of weeks since the miners were discovered ALIVE after it was presumed that they too had perished. It’s been a tortuously slow rescue because of the dangers of excavating, but daily reports have kept us hopeful that all would be well.
And today, it all came good.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the rescue. 
Now we just hope and pray that Todd and Brant can survive the inevitable media onslaught that will befall them. I’m guessing they might end up wishing they’d never come out. Hehehehehehehe.
