Trent Richardson Traded

Well, it was against Seattle, not the Giants or anything.

Neither team has lost since the trade.

Good point, Gary. And I can only laugh about how the Browns just keep winning after all the hand-wringing about this trade (both on this board and off).

I’m glad to see the browns doing well, I’ve been keeping an eye on them.

Week 5: 18 carries 56 yards, 3.1 YPC
Week 6: 10 carries 40 yards, 4.0 YPC , 1 rec 13 yards
Week 7: 14 for 37, 2.6 YPC

Turns out both teams are getting less than they’d hoped - I thought the Colts would be picking in the late teens, but it looks like they may make a deep playoff run.

Week 8: Bye
Week 9: 8 for 20, 2.5 YPC; 2 Rec, 33 yards

What’s interesting about Richardson is that every time I see him play, it looks like his line is getting destroyed and he’s getting hit in the backfield. But when other running backs, behind the same line, are running, they don’t. I’m not quite sure what it is - are they so certain that he can’t cutback or outrun the defense that they just scheme to run blitz right at him, and it works? It’s certainly not a lack of a passing game allowing them to crowd the line.

He comes to a stop before hitting the line way too often. It’s looking more and more like he’s a first round bust for two teams.

He did have a nice 24 yard catch and run, actually finishing third on the team in receiving yards. Indy’s O was pretty bad last night all the way around.

Biggest bust since Ryan Leaf?

Not with JaMarcus Russell just a few years back…
