More of an acronym than a portmanteau. But how about the Manhattan neighborhoods of Tribeca (for Triangle Below Canal Street) and Nolita (for North of Little Italy)?

FTR, it used to be that the Shanghai cuisine restaurants were clustered on Bayard in Chinatown, south of Nolita and predating it by a century.
In Brooklyn, “BoCoCa” for Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens, not that anyone actually says the word.
I lived in NYC for a while and worked in Lower Manhattan. I sorta recall Bayard Street, although that’s not what inspired my user name.
My hometown of Texarkana: TEXas, ARKansas, and louisiANA.

In the Moskitia region of Honduras, there are about ten new “territorial councils” – sort of a combination of counties and Indian reservations. Each is named like “Pakistan”: triple, quadruple, and even quintuple portmanteaus of existing villages and other geographical features, usually ending in “-asta,” which means “organization” in Miskitu (IIRC).
Examples are “Katainasta” and “Wamicliniasta”.
