In Canada, there is no federal Bar or Supreme Court of Canada bar. Anyone duly admitted as a lawyer, advocate, or barrister by a provincial law society has the right of audience in all federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

I don’t think that’s really accurate. Austria and its predecessors, the Austrian Empire and the Holy Roman Empire, were German-speaking for a millennia before the modern state of Germany was formed in 1870. German has always been the national language of Austria; it didn’t lose that status when Germany was formed.

The name Austrians use to idenefy themselves (Osterreich) for a thousand years is a simple German word that measn “Eastern Realm”, meaning the eastern part of Greater Germany – Austrians have used a word from the language of the Gernan-speaking peoples to name themselves for over a millennium. “Austria and is predecessors” enjoys no special historic privilege that is not held by “Germany and its predecessors”, and Austria has never been any more than a small corner of the German-speaking world. Just happens to ba a part that was not included when modern Germany unified…

Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, was a 15th century English nobleman. He became known as ‘the Kingmaker’ because of his political connections and his involvement in the deposition of two kings.
