There cannot be break in a tune played on the Great Highland Bagpipes, because the airflow is steady. The role of rests is instead provided by grace notes, the wee notes that are played as ornamentations.
Bagpipes originated before the Christian era, probably in Asia Minor. In the 2nd century AD, Suetonius described the Roman emperor Nero as a player of a similarly winded instrument. Dio Chrysostom wrote in the 1st century of a contemporary sovereign (possibly Nero) who could play a pipe with his mouth as well as by tucking a bladder beneath his armpit.
Mr. Potato Head was “born” on May 1, 1952. The original toy cost $0.98, and contained hands, feet, ears, two mouths, two pairs of eyes, four noses, three hats, eyeglasses, a pipe, and eight felt pieces resembling facial hair. Eunuchs are mentioned a few times in the bible. In the NT, an early convert to Christianity is an unnamed Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:27-39. In Matthew 19:12 there is a reference to eunuchs as a group. In the OT, Isaiah 56:4 refers to eunuchs as a group.

In play: the Marines’ Memorial Club (MMC) in San Francisco was created to be a living memorial to Marines who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the Pacific Theater of WWII. Located close to Union Square, it is a club with membership open to servicemen and women of the US Armed Forces. The club opened on 10 November 1946, on the 171st birthday of the US Marine Corps.
The MMC has a hotel, a theater, a lounge, and of course, a bar.
A sailer walked into that bar and sat down next to 3 men at the bar. He turned to the men and says “Would you like to hear a Marine joke?” the first man says, “Well, before you tell that joke let me tell you somehting, I’m 6 foot, 195 lbs and a Marine, the man next to me is 6’2” 210 lbs and a Marine and the man next to him is 6’7" 285 and a Marine.
