Gerald Louis “Jerry” Kramer is an American former professional football player, author and sports commentator, best remembered for his 11-year National Football League (NFL) career with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive lineman (right guard). His book, Instant Replay, about the Packer’s 1967 Championship season, made the best seller’s list and remains in print today.
Instant Replay culminated with Kramer’s block on Jethro Pugh that sprang Bart Starr for the winning touchdown on a quarterback sneak in the “Ice Bowl”, the 1967 NFL championship game, against Don Meredith’s Dallas Cowboys on “the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field”.

Charlie Farren is a Boston-area musician, composer and guitarist best known as the lead singer of The Joe Perry Project and FARRENHEIT. Joe Perry was one of the first black players in the National Football League. He was already a member of the San Francisco 49ers, when that team joined the NFL in 1949, when only the Los Angeles Rams had so far broken the color bar. Perry, along with Hugh McElhenny, John Henry Johnson and Y.A. Tittle, are the only backfield playing together who were all enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame.
Joe “The Jet” Perry started the “Million Dollar Backfield” for the San Francisco 49ers when he was signed in 1946. The backfield was completed in 1954 when John Henry Johnson signed.

Hugh McElhenny was related to the McIlhenny family of Avery Island, Louisiana, producers of Tabasco Sauce, made from tabasco peppers, vinegar, and salt.

Georg von Trapp was an Austro-Hungarian Navy officer. His naval exploits during World War I earned him numerous decorations, including the prestigious Military Order of Maria Theresa. Under his command, the submarines SM U-5 and SM U-14 sank 13 Allied ships.
