R.B. Bennett was the only former Canadian Prime Monster to be elevated to the peerage, as Viscount Bennett of Mickleham and Calgary.

In the Star Trek universe, the Prime Directive, guiding the United Federation of Planets, prohibits the Starfleet crew from interfering with the internal development of alien civilizations. Presumably it also forbids interference with Prime Monsters, whatever those may be.

He was eventually extradited, returned to Peru, and tried and convicted of murder, bodily harm, kidnapping, ordering an illegal search and seizure, human rights violations, embezzlement and bribery. He is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence.

The salvage ship Artiglio, the most modern of it’s era, was sent to the island of Belle Île in the northwest of France in 1930 to recover the Florence H, which sank in 1917 while carrying a large quantity of explosives.

During the demolition of the Florence H., it was erroneously assumed that the explosives, submerged for more than 13 years, were not reactive. On 8 December 1930, as a result of a demolition charge, the payload inside the ship also exploded. The Artiglio was destroyed by the explosion and sank in the Bay of Biscay. Twelve crew members died in the accident,[including divers Alberto Gianni, Aristide Franceschi, and Alberto Bargellini and the ship’s commander, Captain Bertolotto di Camogli.

In 1962, Florence Henderson became the first woman to guest host The Tonight Show in the period after Jack Paar left as the show’s host, and before Johnny Carson began his 30 years as the show’s longest serving host in October 1962. She also joined the ranks of what was then called The Today Girl on NBC’s long-running morning show, doing weather and light news, a position also once held by Barbara Walters.

“Henderson” and “McKendric” are cognate Scottish names. Both are variants on “son of Henry”. “Henderson” comes from lowland Scots, while “McKendric” comes from Gaelic.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has said that he disagrees with WC Fields’ maxim never to have anything to do with a show that involved animals or children.
