You should stop worrying about the Trolls and start worrying about the Damned Lawn Gnomes! I hear a single Lawn Gnome can take down an errand poster in under five words.

By the way, I really don’t see how your example about screen names is relevant to the point. My name is always what it is, and my SDMB name will always be what it is unless I decide to change it. “Rousseau” is not my name. It is my SDMB name, which coexists with my real name.
Review:
Fact: My name is my name, in all situations, barring any legal change.
Fact: My SDMB name is Rousseau, in all situations, barring any voluntary change.
Non-fact: “spelling=pen”
