I actually reported it for the avatar some months back after I got tired of looking at it (even ignore doesn’t always obscure the avatar, especially if they are quoted). Alas, it didn’t take.
Been thinking of making a Pit thread for annoying avatars for a long time now, but meh.

If you need to, you can block individual avatars and quote avatars with most ad-blockers.
I have done just that on my PC, but alas, have no such app for my iPad. Anyway, you know who has the worst avatar? Jim_B.
A white D on a light blue background is worse, at least when it comes to the “X is composing a post” message. Is that dalej42, Danger Man, dougrb, or D’Asshole?
In the Inflation is not currently a menace Magiver successfully trolls Martin_Hyde into calling him a liar. One should remember that guys like Magiver are just Trump minions. It is Trump the one who lies, and while one can make an argument that Magiver is lying too, that is not kind towards deluded little yellow guys like Magiver.
Magiver is one of the very few people on my ignore list. He’s a hideous little troll, equal parts stupid and malicious. He can be infuriating if you don’t see through his act.
In this case, it’s troll-ception, as M_H got called out for some major inconsistencies in his historical accounts of his own experiences in life in his own Pit thread. Ones that he has not addressed to date.
Granted, Magiver is an evil little shit as well. So to find them attacking each other gives me a little shiver of schadenfreude.
New poster with a provocative thread topic looks like a troll. Without making direct links, check IMHO thread about a sober person taking a field sobriety test by musical-themed poster.
They came to my notice with the “Possession of Stolen Property” thread rather. And you’re right, they’re posting on provocative topics, with a pattern of ‘create thread and practically never return’. They don’t seem to have much other activity for a short term poster, and a lot of comfort with the board for a new join (7/8/22) without the comments I would have expected if they’d been a lurker in the past.
So, yeah, I’d watch closely.
Now that I responded to Pleonast, I remember why I came to the thread. As many probably already know Martin_Hyde just pulled a ban for violations of the registration, with much rejoicing in his personal thread. Considering his repeated statements of how much he hates us all (going at least 15 years back) but keeps needling our groupthink, any bets that he’ll return as one of our serial socks?
@Mikkel and @Cervaise seem to share my suspicions, but since the personal thread is going to be closed sometime in the future, figured it would be better here, the home of the sock-hunters.
