What’s with the kink-shaming and sexualizing someone’s post? Just don’t type ‘enjoy’.
Seriously though, you folks ought to be a bit more wary about the FBI colluding with big tech and the mass media. You won’t always control the executive branch.

Honestly? That always makes me wary no matter who’s in charge.
I say that as someone who once worked with the FBI’s cyber crime guys (as a cooperating witness, nothing fancy or cool, just giving testimony and evidence to them) and came away with it having a positive opinion of them. But I do worry about privacy sometimes, yes.
I mean, I guess me being wary of the government might be hypocritical considering I’m part of it now, but I don’t know everybody’s agenda.
Good general advice for everyone, but again, do you have a cite supporting your claims that your particular allegations and insinuations on this issue are factual in this case?
I just like having checks and balances between powerful institutions and I think everybody should be a little concerned with concentrations of power. The surveillance state is dangerous.
Anyways, I felt compelled to rebut the preposterous idea that looking at a crackhead’s penis was the driving factor for the right’s indignation at the way the news was handled. If the situation were reversed and this was Trump’s child’s laptop this board would have exploded,
Actually “rebutting” a claim generally requires providing some, you know, actual evidence supporting your denial of it. Just sitting there spluttering unsupported references to Hunter Biden’s laptop and calling President Biden a “senile boob” does not constitute a rebuttal.
Maybe temporarily. I remember when there was a photo of Trump getting off a plane looking disheveled and people were convinced he was being led away in handcuffs. Turns out he was arriving for a golf trip.
The difference is that it was chatter that lasted about a day, not months or years. Once it’s revealed that there’s nothing there, the only people who insist on bringing it up are conspiracy theorists.
Conspiracy theorists (of any kind) don’t tend to last long on this board. So, I’d think that rumors about Don Jr’s laptop wouldn’t get a ton of traction here long term. (Maybe just an occasional snarky comment or other dig.)
Yup. Like I said, what the conservatives are doing now is basically a cargo-cult imitation of liberal exposure of, and outrage at, conservative misdeeds.
They haven’t figured out that what they need to make an accusation stick is not merely repeating rumors about it that sound like liberal accusations against conservatives, but the same sort of factual basis and evidentiary support that made those liberal accusations against conservatives valid.
More statements with no actual substance . . . but at least the thread is back to talking about you right?
We didn’t control the executive branch when Trump’s FBI was supposedly colluding with tech and the media to cover up the Hunter Biden stories. Again, Biden was not the president during events the Twitter Files are alleging. It looks like the FBI wasn’t doing Trump’s bidding so does this mean they are on our side even when Republicans control the executive branch? lol
And hasn’t the FBI always been led by a Republican?
That’s admittedly a good point!
Not really sure what kind of bombshells we’d be able to get from an Etch-a-Sketch. Or maybe maybe you were thinking Junior’s laptop and not Eric’s? Okay, a Speak-and-Spell.
I bet Barron has a high-end tablet.
There’s Moses joke in there but it would require assuming Trump has a Biblical knowledge that exceeds “Two Corinthians”.
If there was a leftwing Q cult they would now be insisting Trump has actually been arrested and is in secret jail. The Trump we see is a robot supplied by Elon, who bought Twitter so that he can send out the Truth if the deep state follows through on the threat of assassinating whistleblowers. When Trump is reinstated on January 4th, the anniversary of Lincoln’s first bacon sandwich, all will be revealed.
I was wondering why this thread exploded with new posts. I thought maybe there was a new and interesting troll. Oh well.
I’ve said it before and will again now – this thread should be for talking about trolls, not talking to trolls.
Unfortunately, they have found that the accusations stick just fine with their weak minded base, like our eight legged friend here. They don’t need any proof, just words they can blather on repeat. Pull the string, “Hunter’s Laptop!!”, pull again, “Liberal Hypocrisy!!”. He’s willingly turned himself into an automaton, an unthinking regurgitator of the latest right wing talking point. I don’t think he’s capable of even the most basic independent thought anymore.
I do pity him, to live in his world is to live in a world of constant fear, fear not of what the liberals will do to him, but a fear of what fellow “conservatives” will do if he doesn’t swallow the party line.
And yet there seem to be a few (one at least) that have been permitted to remain purely–or so it would seem–out of habit, even as trolls.
I must say I am always puzzled that people persist in engaging with such legacies.
Actually, sometimes I wonder if there might be a way to play along with what has become the mainstream conservative talking point (that T**** won the election), and then flip it to “And therefore, because he is now well into his second term, he is constitutionally prohibited from being elected again.”
Or they’ve learned to pick their battles. I know we have a 9/11 conspiracy theorist who hasn’t said anything about 9/11 in over a year.
