Thread is now cornfielded, just as I was posting a witty response suggesting that Bootb must have been under the influence of far too great a dose of some mind-altering substance. The only question here is not about the alleged moderation complaint, it’s about what the consequences should be for PWW (Posting While Wasted). Fortunately, such decisions are not in my job description.
Can someone summarize what led to Bootb’s banning for those who missed it? I feel deprived of a good level of schadenfreude for this clown.

He pitted Aspenglow in ATMB, calling her names, along with a stupid defense of a terrible post in the wrong forum.
He’s not banned, he’s suspended for 24 hours. The ATMB post was a mindless vicious attack on a moderator for a gentle mod note that Bootb apparently didn’t agree with after apparently getting wasted on some powerful drugs, or maybe downing an entire jumbo-size bottle of tequila.

Their weird views on the trading of internal organs aside, I’m not aware of them normally being a particularly trollsome individual, so perhaps a short enforced break might do them some good at the moment.

Phrases like “Deal with it, you moronic piece of scum!” being aimed at a moderator in ATMB are probably going to get more than a short break. Doesn’t help he was also dead wrong in his complaint about a non-warning.

Troll adjacent at a minimum and certainly slanted one way politically. Definitely took opportunities here and there to add unwarranted and …let’s politely say politically or personally motivated… digs and digressions but was good enough to stay on one side of the line.
If that’s due to the influence of mind-altering substances, a break may be a good idea. But one suspects at most those substances merely reinforced natural assholishness.
