Such creatures certainly exist, but that should not be the first assumption, because simple ignorance is so common that it’s the far more likely explanation for dumbfuckery on the internet. On the subject of climate change, I’m pretty sure that our friend Chicago Faucet is just an ignorant dumbass. We did once have a recreational troll in our midst, FXMastermind, whose posts on climate change denial were practically a fixture on the board. He eventually outed himself as a troll in a number of different ways, such as inconsistent arguments, persistently ignoring refutations, and being a shit-disturber on other topics as well. There was much rejoicing when he was finally banned. But such creatures are rare compared to run-of-the-mill dumbasses.

It is odd, I’ve been browsing his posts from before he left and all I’m seeing are perfectly normal, reasonable, conversational posts. Nothing like the pure conspiracy theory stuff he is kicking off with now. Something must have happened along the way of going from a married omega male with a loving and supportive wife (as he said in his thread “Advice Or Input Needed For Long-Term And Short-Term Issues”) to a single (biological) sigma male. (Probably what happened starts with a “T” and ends with a “rump”.)
The concept of the sigma male has inevitably invited widespread ridicule from certain sections of the media. This criticism generally takes the form of snark and implying that people who proclaim to be sigma males (such as Day himself) are really losers posing as brooding loners.

This is how I’ve generally seen it use - images of Elon Musk, RDJ as Ironman, or the Wolf of Wallstreet guy, with just absolute random nonsense. “If your inner circle isn’t discussing buying a yurt, you need a new inner circle. Your network is your net worth!”.
My favorite are the memes based around Warhammer - specifically the communities around Vermintide or Total War: Warhammer. The setting has a deity named Sigmar (basically a warrior-Jesus), and so that had led to a series of Sigmar Grindset memes.
Chicago Faucet is currently on a 1 day suspension and I am trying to make it permanent as he appears to be trolling the board on at least COVID and Climate Change Denial.

Obviously it’s the COVID vaccine. He probably started getting banned from boards just as soon as all those sheeple started getting vaccinated. It made them soft and impervious to reason.
