Speaking of Christian martyrs though, it seems BK just couldn’t stay away and came back for more evidence-free assertations in the previously mentioned thread and that Chronos had quite enough of it. The thread is closed, and since it was BK’s only outlet here, we’ll see if they up their game and troll other threads, get banned, or wander back off into the wilds.

I’m betting that last little bit about having to link to his blog had something to do with it. He was just here to promote himself.
To be fair, it worked. The number of people who have now read his published work has just skyrocketed.
The last straw was apparently that picture of a Nazi officer’s belt buckle with the inscription reading “Got mittens”. Not really offensive, but still, a pro-Nazi tribute to how well provisioned they were for winter on the Russian front.
Beyond that, the demand to provide citations to his blog in a specified format as well as links sounds like a thinly veiled threat in the event his instructions are not followed. Bad move.
I haven’t seen the picture or context, but on its own the play on “Gott Mit Uns” amuses me.
I see we have a new right-wing false narrative parrot going by “Zheng” who has already popped in to post standard anti-trans narratives (in the Tennessee thread, possibly in violation of board rules) and pro-Trump narratives in another thread.
It’s a little early to play “troll or idiot” but I don’t foresee a long and fruitful stay here either way if this is where they’re starting from.

Over in the “Moving to a new state when you retire” thread, our new friend Zheng advances the theory that evil librul Democrats tax everyone to death, resulting in underfunded police departments and dirty crime-ridden cities. Zheng does not explain how Democrats manage to overtax and underspend at the same time. One is left to assume that because they’re evil, Democrats can do that sort of thing.
If Zheng were to learn that I live in a very liberal society with clean cities, low crime, and well-funded police, it might blow his little mind, such as it is, although I doubt anything could cause him to rethink his doubtlessly well-considered sweeping conclusion that “liberals destroy everything”. So far he has only attracted a mod note, but I predict greater things for his future here. He should probably stick to his lavish praise of Trump in which posts he’s been quite prolific, almost as if the talking points had already been written by someone else and were not the product of his own Zhengian intelligence.
Zheng appears to be gone.
It turns out he was actually Magneto in disguise.
I guess Zheng was one of our former Trumpists, making a special repeat appearance as a Zhock.
It seems he wasn’t a new poster after all.
He’s been socking here since about 2006. His socks usually don’t last very long.
So we have socks and mittens covered for today. Let’s see if any problems crop up related to scarves.
