If it’s the one I’m thinking of, he was convinced that that one particular person actually ran the board. He was right at the end of our time on vBulletin, when the board stability was going to Hell. I think he concluded that he got that poster to shut down the board, and that’s the only reason we were able to be rid of him permanently.
I doubt very seriously that any of those were people directing animus my way, as I’m too mediocre/middle-of-the-road to have people get that angry with me here. But if you come across any, can I read it? Pretty please with sugar on top?

To be fair, he’s not introducing a CT in an unrelated thread, he’s just adding a CT to a (dead) thread already full of them. A mod is even engaging him. Not sure that reporting someone for being an idiot is going to lead to mod action.
I suspect that the dodgy way he’s responding to people in the thread is going to get him in trouble.

It’s a blatant trolling run in the “Just Asking Questions” mode. It has no place in FQ, nor does the troll-feeding “debate” it seems to have spawned.
He’s making everyone in that thread look like naive fools, not because he’s right but because he’s lured them into interacting with him at all.

Oh, I see he’s resurrected another JFK thread. I thought you were referring to the one where he was “just asking questions” about the contents of Jackie’s handbag. Do we know for certain she didn’t have a gun in it?
