Same. I worked with a lady named Carolina until recently (and it was pronounced like the state, not the standard “Caro-lee-na” pronunciation). One of my best friends at an old job was named Georgia, I would get a ride to work from her every day. And my daughter has a friend at her dance studio named Georgia.
There’s no question in my mind whether our language fanatic is trolling.
Our language fanatic is absolutely not NORMAL by even the loose definitions of our group of pedants and weirdos. Are they trolling? I’m not 100% sure, but I do think it’s more than just a teenaged (or otherwise) obsession with language. One or two? Sure, but I’d expect said self-proclaimed expert to be showing off more than one or two links to crap-pop-sci (at best) articles.
I just wonder what the payoff is. I would have expected a switch to concerns about English protectionism (as @Pleonast suggested upthread) if they were a typical troll, but none of that so far.
So I’m leaning into a deep trock meta-trolling of the board with endless JAQ responses knowing we’re seething about the low quality and endless drivel, or perhaps someone verging on major obsessive compulsive behavior. More the first than the second, because again, with the second, I’d think they’d be sharing more in quantity at least, if not quality.

I’m 100%. Posts like this; “Calm down. You have been moderated once” aren’t just JAQing.
This is not a guaranteed payoff. Anyone who has raised teenagers would consider this old hat and not worth even raising an eyebrow over.
It’s potentially a completely counterproductive choice of persona for an intentional troll.
If they actually posted that, I hope you flagged. Clear violation of junior modding.

People, I’ll repeat myself, I definitely feel they’re abby-normal. 
I just don’t know if they’re a troll, or perhaps mentally disturbed in some way. And I still lean troll, just not 100%.
No matter what, as a pretty much single topic low content poster, I didn’t think they’d be long for the board no matter what.
ETA - following up on the reported warning, the way they casually mentioned the prior modding as a reason to dismiss other posters feels much more trocky, in the “I know the rules and I can get you in trouble” way I doubt any new poster could manage. So, up to about 90% certain now.
