Trolls R Us Resurrections

A new poster sageese77 is all over the board in the last 30 minutes.

Saw that.

I had to learn to punctuate and capitalize. :expressionless:

Already “suspended pending review.” Fast work, mods!

And now says banned, sock.

The cornfield is well fed this week. We may breathe safely for a while…

Sageesee means Wisdom in French (according to a quick Google search) but he didn’t seem very wise.

Oh no! They’re probably gonna delete my post replying to him! I worked hard on that!

Sic semper trollanus. (Thus always to trollish assholes)

Maybe they thought the mods would be too busy watching the Patriots stomp the Steelers!

It was this post that caused me to investigate this poster. We’d really appreciate it if you notice this sort of behavior that you would flag the poster. Thanks.

I thought I didn’t have enough to go on. I know better for the future.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for you to feel I was chastising you. I wasn’t. I am really glad you noted it in this thread, but we catch 'em quicker if you flag, too.

I like to think of our role as painting the target so that the smart bomb mods can take 'em out

I knew it was a sock. So obvious. This sad sack needs to up their game if they want to be able to troll longer.

I thought the same. I actually posted in the other thread about it.

Sublimely calling out the mods, I guess. Didn’t work.

If it’s the one I think it is, yours is still there. And it looks well worth keeping. (Copy it and paste it into a document of yours, maybe?)

WHOOPS! Here comes a thumbs down

Real talk? You crack me up, my brother.

Dog or not.

Query - I similarly mentioned a poster that ended up feeding the demons of the cornfield (I have no idea if he was already on the mods watchlist prior to that though). I mentioned them here because their one post/thread was, as I mentioned innocuous, but their complete comfort as a new poster with zero reading or prior participation set off all sorts of flags.

That’s not of course evidence of any wrongdoing, and we as posters don’t know and are better off knowing what tools the mods are using to track and identify trocks. But, is as @Mighty_Mouse asked, us noticing that sort of pattern sufficient for us to flag it for you guys?

I didn’t see any of the recently banished’s posts, and couldn’t therefore evaluate if there was anything more to them that would give us additional reasons to flag them, but don’t want to be jumping the gun on my horrible, nasty suspicions of posters that fit those patterns unless it is with the mods blessing.

Although, if it comes to feeding the shoggoths of the cornfield, I’ll gladly sacrifice questionable new posters in appeasement than proven posters. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
