I suspect a certain thread in IMHO as being completely and entirely trolling on the part of the OP, and suspected it from the first post. And the fish are biting like mad.
The newbie poster who is the OP of that thread is now asking for “citation?” when someone wrote something he disagrees with. So probably a sock too.
Can you give a better hint than that? I understand not linking to a thread but I don’t have the foggiest idea what you’re talking about. I assume it’s one of the dozens of IMHO threads active in the past day but I’m not going to search every one to guess which one.

Ah, okay. That was the one I zeroed in on so my instincts were good, but I got about halfway down and wasn’t seeing clear trolling yet so I wasn’t sure I was on the right track. 
ETA: I read the whole thread. I’m not seeing trolling, but I’m not saying it’s not either. 
If you’re so afraid of posting a link, can you at least give the thread title? Remember, NOT EVERYBODY READS EVERY THREAD.

I actually think this one’s real. Shocking, because I suspected the same when I saw the thread, and I’m also jaded enough to believe that no one posts actual questions like that sincerely. But there are reasons to believe the legitimacy of this one. (Or at least not a troll. I make no judgment on sock.)
How’s about csy_mckenzie in IMHO thread “drop off the face of the earth”. Joined just to rant about getting ghosted.
Hmmm - arrived a week ago, they revive a zombie, only thread they’ve ever posted in, and they’re responsible for 20 of 43 (new) posts. Its…unusual behavior.

If they suddenly stop posting and disappear without any explanation I’m going to be emotionally devastated.
Once you’ve asserted that disappearing without a trace is the absolute worst thing ever, you’ve pretty much committed yourself to replying to every post in the thread.
He did it once, when Sam_Stone pulled his “Democrats believe just as much bullshit as Republicans” schtick.
I never claimed it was more than once. And apparently knowing that Sam Stone’s schtick is usually BS implies, to me, previous knowledge of the board.
Now there seems to be evidence (sent to me by PM) that I was wrong, at least about the trolling part. So, carry on and never mind.
Eh, it really doesn’t take all that long to come to that conclusion.
