He seems to mostly stay in his pit thread now, but maybe I missed something.
He is using that pit thread to release a shitload of misinformation-His participation is less conversation and more press release.
He almost never has exchanges with people. He doesn’t even argue much. He either ignores replies or gives insults. There’s no effort to convince people, he’s just putting info in the thread.
It’s almost as if he’s relaying something that he’s being tasked with saying, without having any investment in what he’s saying, maybe not even an understanding of it. I can’t fathom what that might mean…
It is refuted and mocked immediately.
Which does absolutely nothing to slow him down. He has a great deal of propaganda to deliver, and we are giving him free rein to do so. It is one thing to give people a free space to give their opinions, but it is quite another to give Putin free advertising space.
I kind of agree, maybe time to review again.

Just for the record, I’m being … cautious about new poster gman_AK. I’m treating them as a serious poster, but coming in as a brand new poster to a board of this age and limited visibility to start a brand new thread about how straight men react to him as a newly realized homosexual feels like someone laying bait.
It absolutely could be someone wanting to make a clean start far away from everything else, but our patterns of past behavior make me suspicious.
I did participate and give my honest opinion, but I’m a lot more reflexively cautious of said patterns than I am of any stated sexuality, that’s for sure!

Good point. It just occurred to me that since even we old timers are not allowed to post certain links but can work around that by posting quickly or editing the post quickly, these spammers may be loading their nonsense in that manner.

Well, at least the objectionable stuff is isolated to one tidy mutable thread.
