The debate has brought several roaches scurrying out of the woodwork, most notably a survinga, who says Biden should submit to a neurological exam [P&E]. Didn’t suggest one for Trump, tho.
I think survinga is a decent poster although he’s annoyed me a few times in discussions of health care, wherein he seems to believe that in the US, at least, health insurance is best administered by the private system – a system that is fundamentally fucked right from the get-go and explicitly designed to screw patients. But never mind, that’s not what this thread is about.
As I said in that actual thread, I think the proposal is silly.
If Biden is to submit to a neurological exam, then Trump should submit to a full-scale completely thorough psychiatric one. The man is completely unhinged, paranoid, aggressively hateful, pathologically narcissistic, an astounding clinical exemplar of pathological dishonesty in everything he says and everything he does, relentlessly self-serving, traitorously disloyal to his own country, and dumb as a turnip. Yeah, just the guy you want in charge of domestic and foreign policies and nuclear weapons.
Please, don’t debate the merits of the mental checkup for either candidate here. We don’t enjoy moving BS out of this very useful thread.

Ending up “institutionalized, jailed or killed” is a pretty mainstream notion when you consider it’s what many 12-Steppers tell you will happen to you if you don’t become a 12-Stepper. You’ll hear that at meetings if you don’t toe their line and “work the steps” in the way that particular group thinks is “right”.

It’s not super obvious or egregious though, at least not the Pit stuff. Thumbing your nose at the community every once in a while doesn’t seem like it would rise to moderator action.
Since they last had a warning they’ve only posted 3 times in the past 3 years. Maybe that’ll ramp up, maybe not. But posting just to say, “I still think I’m right,” I don’t think there’s anything to report there.
