Has anyone ever come in and just been so in tune with the board from day one that they seem like a trock, but are genuinely new?
There are people who lurk for long enough to get to know the board before they actually sign up and start posting. I was one of those, who lurked for probably a couple years before joining in 2010.
I’m still not convinced dgy was a trock.
Just too clever by half, and rubbed everyone up the wrong way.
User #3 was pretty in tune with the board right from the start, but he was genuinely new.
Same here. I read the board for probably a good two years before signing up and creating my own account. This would have been back in the early 2000s. I have actually been a lurker on the board for over 25 years I think at this point. A few months ago when I made a conscious decision to start participating more actively I think I threw a couple of posters because they didn’t recognize my name but I obviously know the board, the major personalities, and the general culture. Hopefully I’m past that now. And that’s not to excuse obvious trocks of course, but long time lurkers who suddenly decide to start posting is a very real thing.
Weak post, deleted.
Still annoyed my username was associated w/ nazi (88).

I think you’ll have to PM a moderator.
While you’re at it, you could request a bespoke title too. All the cool kids are doing it!
Thanks, yes plz.

I flagged a Mod for you.
Cool title would be “ate ate”
Just don’t go for “86”.
Funny🙄
In my NASCAR following days, I was Dale Jarrett fan. I had a few t-shirts with 88 on them.

I just came across my first of this person’s posts and thought the very same thing.
There’s some Ed guy posting in ATMB about how they’re stalking @puzzlegal by “disabling ‘hide my profile’”.
