I prefer kinetic bombardment. The idea of dropping what is pretty much a giant lawn dart from a satellite is so surreal and yet has been given a lot of serious consideration.
The_Librarian was pretty clearly trolling to get away with saying the n-word. Even used 9s, like you would on social media sites, to get past any possible filter
It didn’t even make sense with the rest of his post. He was ironically pretending to be a Trump supporter in the first post, and then switched to calling out other posters in the rest of the post. It added absolutely nothing but shock value.
I can squint and try to make it make sense, but why bother when he slipped in the n-word? And has been very troll-y in the past?

I’m not so sure about that. Keyohtea’s literal first words in the thread were, “While I am personally an Atheist, I do recognize that all religions have a nice part. Be nice to each other.”
The latest post seems to just be a repeat of what they said there. That they themselves aren’t talking about the theology, but rather how they treat people. Or as I was taught, the “works” as opposed to the “faith” that inspires them.
I am in agreement that this person is a trock, and some of their language is intended to inflame the thread, despite their assurances otherwise.
I did not know “Charlie Church” wasn’t a common phrase for a Christian church goer. But I guess in retrospect it could be considered pejorative.
“Touchy feely Christian” was meant as a compliment. As in some Christians actually follow the golden rule. I guess I didn’t word it correctly.
It’s the “I guess I didn’t word it correctly” that I don’t believe. They worded it exactly how they meant it, and the “oops, sorry” bit is a cover for what they’re trying to do. And in that same vein, I do not see a confession in that final post, but I do see an intentional escalation caused by the profanity. This is a trock that knows exactly what they’re doing.
ETA: If you’ve ever watched “drunken style” Kung Fu, or one of the Drunken Master movies by Jackie Chan (which are hilarious and awesome IMO), the concept is to look like you’re stumbling around randomly and accidentally doing things destructive when in reality you are executing carefully-practiced and well-trained moves. This is the conversational equivalent of that.

I don’t know if Keyohtea is a trock or just a moron, but his performance in the “I don’t watch commercials” thread in MPSIMS suggests it could be either one. His last response to me in that thread pissed me off to the point that I decided not to respond any more. I didn’t flag it, but the level of idiocy attracted a mod note anyway.
In case anyone missed it, Keyohtea has offered the sage observation that TV commercials pay for the programming that we watch for free. Who knew? I must confess that I’m still staggering under the impact of this major revelation that would never have occurred to me, and has forever changed my world view of both television broadcasting and capitalism in general!

Decent folk don’t try to come up with ways to slip in the n-word into posts. They definitely don’t go around calling other people racist and then pull that shit. Decent folk take the n-word seriously, and don’t use it even when mocking racists.
