Yes, I dared to click the link (I have an ad- and a scriptblocker, so no great risk). It’s a post on another messageboard with the same crap, but extended by countless links to other sites I didn’t follow.
It’s all timecube grade nonsense.
11 years and 6 months and nobody has clued in yet! Og knows, the avatar alone and all the pro-dog posts should give it away! 
I followed it for the lolz, in a private window; it went to a pastebin site that brought up a “$1000 WalMart gift card” offer after I had scrolled down a ways.
That’s when I decided I had had enough.

I do have several issues with this otherwise eloquent treatise. One issue is this line:

The poster is mistaken. July 1 is not Emergence Day, it is Canada Day.
Then there is this:

I think the more correct statement is that none of the public has heard of any of this, undoubtedly due to control of the inter-dimensional manifold by the transreal beings in the Lumen Council.
Thread and poster in question has been moderated (matching some of the comments here in fact!) and I’ve suspended them for 24 hours while I get second opinions from my more senior peers. Thanks again to those who flagged, but probably best to let it go at this point.
He’ll be happy to go there, since that’s where the aliens are making their crop circles, natch.

FTR, the modnote and account suspension was timestamped 1536, well within my hour. But I had wagered on full cornfielding, not mere suspension. Which cornfielding now isn’t likely to happen quickly enough for a win.
I guess I won’t be wagering any quatloos for awhile. Sigh. That’s the downside of all-in.

close on my initial review, but as the most junior mod I sometimes second guess myself. But yes, that was my first instinct.
