What do you think, is Troma insane art or grade Z crap? I love films such as Surf Nazis Must Die, Tainted, and Cannibal the musical, but hate most everything about flagship titles like the Toxic Avenger crap. Never have I seen an intellegent debate about Troma, but maybe this will be it…
Grade Z crap. I admit, the whole “Independant Film” studio thing is a great thing, but anyone who tries to pass off Teenage Catgirls In Heat off as “art” is just looking for an excuse to watch porn during Lent.
I’ll give it the guilty pleasure.
I love the original Toxic Avenger (the sequels were crap), Surf Nazi’s must die had me rolling and who could forget Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-a-rama.
I would like to hear from anyone who really things these are “good” movies instead of just fun to watch. I’d love to get the viewpoint.
