So far in your posts you have dropped some right-wing platitudes that you could not back up with actual knowledge or thought. No one on the left or right, gets away with that for long in GD.
This board does list to the left, but it tolerates moderates and righties that can back up their posts with facts and cites.
BTW: You still have failed to explain how the war against Iraq was necessary or did anything to fight terrorism.
I just popped into the Pit to see if this thread had been started yet. Jumping Jesus Christ (on or off the pogo stick), Trotsky, where the hell did you come in from? As others have said, it is, actually, okay to be pro-Bush or pro-war, or even both, but you’ve got to come up with some reasoning. Preferrably some that doesn’t just parrot slogans that have been used a thousand times. Memes, if you will. And all the commie-pinko stuff? That’s a little dated at this point.
If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? If I had to guess, I would say early high school with a very basic grasp of American history. You still seem to be in the “just accept what the book says” stage. It is okay to think critically of anything, including the country. Thinking critically is absolutely necessary for democracy to work the way it should. Sometimes the United States can be wrong. That doesn’t mean that terrorists are right. Disagreeing with the current war (or wars, if one is opposed to Afghanistan) is not disloyal.

I support the move afoot to just ignore this troll and hope he goes away. He’s shown himself to be uninterested in any kind of serious discussion. Rather than engage him in GD, let’s just refer him to this thread.
I’m not taking it all that seriously honestly. The place does seem a bit wacko left though. And it’s a bit insulting to anyone’s intelligence when the leftism gets out of hand.
The iraq stuff I’ve been discussing. It’s a part of the global war on jihadism. Perhaps Iran was a better target, or North Korea. Or Syria.
I think there’s a lot of problems, and a lot of needed wars, Iraq included. I don’t mind if people disagree with that. The knee jerk hysterical anti-America/pro left slant here though, made me come on and fling some mud. The mud was already covering me screen when I visited here, so I thought I’d toss some of it back.
I was reading my namesakes ‘The Revolution Betrayed’ today. It reminded me of the pseudo intellectualism of the leftist mindset that I dislike so much. I was also reading much of the anti-American/capitalism and pro-chavez taking down free speech, that I just had to join.
