So … have we figured out how to brew alcoholic drinks on this island?
I hope so. I store my brews-in-progress in the guest bedroom when it’s not occupied. Right now, it smells wonderfully of cider.
It’s a paradise, so, of course. Have some pineapple Schnapps.
I’m more interested in if we were able to save any cheese when we were dropped here.
Apparently, cheese is potentially lethal here.
Now I really think you are scum.
F5: putting the Refresh in Refreshments.
Hey folks. Sorry for being scarce…we had a bit of bad news on the homefront, but hopefully I can get back in gear over the weekend.
*And there you have it. I have rendered as full an account of the day’s arguments as I was able to remember. We had the Professor’s neck in the noose and, truthfully, seemed confident of his guilt. At the end, though, he managed to sway some few of us, and Sario’s taciturn demeanor spoke as loudly as the Professor’s incessant protestations of innocence. I do believe that those who maintained the Professor’s guilt were at least partially motivated by a desire to silence his chatter.
And so we strung Sario up. At the last moment, he held up a hand. "But wait, he said. “Don’t you want to hear my thoughts abou- hrrrkck!”
Really, it was all rather anticlimactic.*
Sario, a standard village Citizen, has been lynched.
*
We buried his decidedly non-wolfish body at the outskirts of the village and then retreated to our huts for the night. There’s nothing for it now but to sleep. I wish I could lock my door.
Hell, I wish I had a door.
**Day 1 has ended. Day 2 will begin Monday at noon, EAST COAST TIME, HOWEVER BE IT MEASURED.
Players with night communication may now night communicate. Players with night actions should PM me with said actions.**
Pfui! Who’d have thought Sario could ever be Town?
I intend to go back and catch up, but can someone sum up for me the argument for **Sario **being Scum? Or was it simply a matter of “we have to pick someone…”?
It was mostly for lurking.
For my part, his promises of “catching up” with no follow-through and reluctance to weigh in on the votes seemed scummy. I didn’t want to lynch the next runner-up, Prof P, either.
Bummer. I’d like to post more thoughts, but as I understand the rules, am not permitted to discuss the game until the next game day. In the meantime, I’ll retire to the beach with a very large pineapple schnapps and do some thinking.
Hey! Wait a minute! Who’s a chatterbox??
Sigh.
Two days to reread and rethink.
Don’t fell bad guys, this one is on me. Long story short, I got caught up in real life and the game slipped my mind.
Sorry I couldn’t have been more help to the town.
Real life happens. It’s why I play games to get a break for a while. Thanks for getting what you could up before EOD.
