I’m surprised there have been no threads! That bad?
Do we need a poll to vote on whether it was worth it to finally see Erik’s buns, or was the ick factor of what he was doing kind of kill it?
I, for one, want WICKED Erik back, thanks.

I have a feeling his memory will return, and he will take his sweet time mentioning it.
Wow, I sure wish I could edit my thread O.o Borked the date AND the grammar, yuck!
I thought the witch vs vampire thing was a nice exposition, FINALLY. Think it might have been more interesting had they shown that earlier, though; like a few episodes ago. Maybe STARTED with that.
I miss the old Erik. I’m starting to like Bill better than him. I wouldn’t have cared at this point if they killed him (Erik) either. They have way too many characters.
Anyone else think Anna and Alexander have no chemistry? I thought so since last season when it was hinted at the pairing.
I know this is bad, but I’d love to see Jason/Jessica.
Personally I like sweet Eric. Certainly there was no way Sookie was going to get with him while he was still a dick.
Also I found “meadow sex” to be much more appealing than “dirt sex”.
I like Pam. I like Tara’s girlfriend. I don’t like that it looks like they may have not gotten along in a permanent sort of way.
I want to slap Jesus continuously. It’s still fresh in my mind how he freaked out on L dealing V, and now he’s dragging him to a brujo malo.
What’s up with art teacher guy from Six Feet Under?? I thought the witch made all the vampire priests walk into sunlight. How did he survive?
I also wanted to say am I the only one who found it strange Sookah always listens to Gran, but decided it was ok to bump uglies with Eric despite Gran’s warning?
He happened to outside of the the 20 mile radius she cast. He said so last episode.
I don’t know what to think of either Jess/Jason OR Erik/Sookie. I can’t see her being attracted to him; she’s never shown any interest, at ALL. She showed a lot more interest in Alcide than in Erik. It was actually pretty jarring to see Sookie/Erik getting it on. It looked…fake, like a bad dream; there just was no lead-in to it whatsoever.
Oh, and the Jess/Jason thing seems pretty forced, too. I mean, it’s kind of a duh, in a way; just hadn’t thought of that pairing before. But despite Jason attracting everything that moves and Jess being the hottest thing with fangs since…um…sliced bread…I just don’t see that either.
I would too, though more specifically I want to see Jessica. So very beyond hot.
Apart from the entire season of Sookie having wet dreams about Erik?
You know what…changing my mind here:
Regarding Sookie+Erik, I think maybe Sookie is just finally in charge of a relationship. She’s been a tool or possession of one person or group of weirdos or another since the start; right now, she can say yes or no and there’s no super-passion twisting her emotions. Right now stuff with Erik is…clean. Uncomplicated. Non-life-threatening, which has gotta be a nice change. So, I can see that. Of course I suspect this is just a palette-cleanser for when she and Bill inevitably get back together…
And regarding Jess and Jason, I totally forgot she healed him with her blood, so he’s been having sexy dreams and she’s feeling protective, maybe; also, she’s not having to lie to Jason about anything, so the pressure she’s feeling with Hoyt isn’t there with Jason. So, I get it.
Yeah, but she knows that was uncontrollable and didn’t like that much at all. I didn’t THINK so, anyway. Could be wrong.
And agreed about Jessica. I know I’m straight but holy shit she makes me wish I weren’t!
I liked this episode better than the previous three.
Now that Tommy has killed his parents, he needs to go ahead and kill himself.
The Sookie / sweet Eric , pairing kind of creeps me out. It’s like she’s taking advantage of someone who is mentally challenged.
I assumed that Tommy would think “Hey, nobody likes Tommy, but everyone likes Sam; I should just kill Sam and shift to impersonate him and have HIS life!”…until he vomited blood and entrails, I assume from having stayed shifted for so long.
Oh yeah, pure torture. heh.
I dig the Erik Sookha combo, way more than the Bill Sookha combo. Have never been a Bill fan. I agree that Erik will get his memory back and not let on for quite some time. Juicy…
A big no to Jess and Jason. Although Jason is actually less annoying than Tara. She should just go back to where ever. I wonder if she would be better as a Vamp?
Yay for Pam, as always. Though I do hope she doesn’t eat the lesbians what with Tara trying to grow up and be a real person and all.
Ugh, how are the writers screwing up Sookie/Eric so very badly? Whatever, I’d still rather watch Eric/Sookie than have Bill’s stupid mug anywhere near the t.v.
WTH is with the Bill flashback anyway, we’re supposed to like him because he was ahead of the curve on not killing humans? What a load of hogwash, it just showed Bill has always been an overly-angsty, whiny little bitch.
Go away Bill, you’re a douche.
Slightly better episode.
The whole brojo thing, though, is just annoying. Get rid of that plot line!
What’s the deal with Tommy? Is there some negative consequences if shifters shift into another person instead of an animal? Is this the first time we’ve seen a person to person shift?
Jason cracks me up. And he’s got Jessica wanting a little Jason love…
Finally got a peek at Paquin’s boobs; hooray. I thought maybe she’d gotten too important to show them this season.
Noticed that the woman playing Tara’s lesbi-friend is a pretty crappy actress. Very wooden delivery.
Tired of the witchy woman already. (The wannabe possessee, not the actual witch.) She’s running out of scenery to chew.
Tommy transformed into Sam because he is not just a shifter any more, but he is a skinwalker. According to his new g/f Luna. A shifter can change into another human IF they killed a relative. Luna’s mom died in childbirth. Tommy killed his parents. That’s what I got out of it. … Jason and Jessica are better than Jessica and Hoyt. Hoyt is all wrong for her, he’s a steer in a short-sleeved plaid shirt. Nice guy, etc. but he would have been much better off with the g/f from last season, the one with the dolls. But no, he is mesmerized by the exotic Jessica. And I think she’s getting tired of his bovine ways, so maybe she and Jason will hook up.
I have to say, this season is seriously lacking, to me. Too many characters, too many DUMB characters, many of them with squalid Jerry Springer level problems. I haven’t been shocked or burst out laughing once so far. And if I never hear the word “were-panther” ever again, I will die happy - what was all that waste of time, 45 minutes of saying “were-panther, were-panther, I’m a gonna turn into one, Oh, I can feel it coming over me.” Transform, already, you dolt. And nothing happened! Eric and Sookie: THAT was the big hookup? Chilling? Majestic? Passionate? how about: Snore.
Wow. I totally missed that.
But it seemed like the shifting into a human act was pretty rough. What was all the vomit about, and the shift seemed to be rather painful as compared to the animal shifts, which are seamless.
