I was really starting to like the pack leader dude, with his speech and all, until he pulled that shit in front of his daughter. Boo
I spent the entire downtime of season 3-4 being excited for Eric and Sookie to hook up. Ugh, I was so wrong. I can’t stand cute, whimpering Eric. And I’m pissed off at him for taking the first shot in the cemetary.
I really, really want Bill and Jessica to have a bonding moment over this whole ‘I broke up with Hoyt and then Jason kicked me out’ thing. I understand Hoyt’s reaction, but Jason just made me so angry. I kinda want Bill to have a WHY YOU HURT MY DAUGHTER ROAR moment.
For clarity, Deborah Ann Woll plays Jessica Hamby on True Blood, and Deborah Ann Woll plays Jessica Hamby in the 3rd episode of the upcoming season of Fringe.
Vampires in the Fringe universe would be a new addition, but as far as I’m concerned, every show could use more Jessica.
Seriously, I’m kind of glad Jason stuck up for Hoyt. Jessica’s been kind of a bitch this season. I like her last season, she was starting to come into her own. Now, she’s just a pretty verison of Pam. Although, it kind of comes back to the point that Bill is a bad vampire dad. (Yeah, I know he forced to maker her but still…)
That was a riot. The look on Andy’s face as he was seriously considering it just cracked me up.
Jessica is probably the best actor on the show, other than Russell.
I’m glad the show is getting better. I was really losing interest. Still not as good as it has been, but much better relative to the other eps this season.
I’m thinking the witch was casting a spell to control Eric, and she made him draw first blood to make it look like the vamps shot first (so to speak).
Alcide is not allow to be onscreen if he is not at least half naked.
Pam’s “This…is so…LAAAME!” was my favorite line of the night.
Creepy baby/doll/possession story bores me, and I remain distracted by the fact parents of such a young child would be FINE with him sharing a crib with the filthy, nasty, rotting thing. I mean, I’ve relaxed to where I don’t care if Boy 2.0 eats the Cheerios he dropped on the floor two hours ago, or is sleeping with his beloved bear that has to be a petri dish of toddler germs, but there’s no way that nasty thing would be in his hands or bed.
I actually like memory-less Eric, but now, he bores me. Except for the whole ripping out of hearts (or was it spine?).
I’m betting that to defeat Marnie the vamps are going to get Godric to possess Lafayette, I feel like he wasn’t just your “normal” run of the mill vampire when he was around, or maybe even before he got turned. As old as he was… like wasn’t there some speculation about him being a Druid with magical powers or something?
And not that I looked into it or anything, but apparently the actress who plays Jessica has a no-boobies clause.
Way to ruin my day; I liked it much better when I thought there was at least a possibility. Oh well. On the plus side, I did a cursory google on the topic and ran across an Allure shoot she did with no makeup, hairstyling, or clothing:Deborah Ann Woll’s Allure Photo Shoot
That strikes of imdb vandalism to me, like when people made it say Lost was gonna have Rose’s husband played by Samuel Jackson or added Thomas Gibson as Greg to the cast for an episode right after they introduced the Dharma Initiative.
imdb, like wiki, is largely the result of user added material, so grains of salt, very necessary.
Anyway… as for the episode…
Wow, I had no idea Sookie’s shower was the entrance to Narnia.
On a side note, the lead make-up artist for the show has partnered with Tarte to create a True Blood line. It’s sold at Sephora, and it’s gorgeous. The lip tint is so awesome I went back to buy an extra and they were sold out. The eyeshadow palatte is stunning.
I don’t know that it’s a prank…there was a thread a couple of weeks ago about the character John Munch and how the character has been on ten different shows. When you look at the wiki article about the character, you see that on one of those shows (30 Rock), it was simply a scene where they’re watching a fictional episode of Law and Order. Fringe has already shown The X-Files on tv (beginning of the season three opener) so it’s clear that some of “our” shows also exist in the world of Fringe. So maybe someone ends up watching True Blood. Or, since it’s Jessica specifically, maybe someone accesses part of her video blog via their computer.
Why oh why couldn’t Bill have let Pam eat Tara? It would have made fans so happy… I guess the best we can hope for is that they finally cast someone as JB du Rone and have her fade into the background after finally finding more or less true love with a dim but hot guy.
Well, in that case, she wouldn’t be playing Jessica, she’d be playing herself playing Jessica, and I think I just hurt my brain from the meta of it all.
