The underlined is something I’ve been thinking about this considering he has a small role in book 5 (but then, so did Stan and I’m pretty sure they killed him off last season). I wonder if they’re going to kill Russell off this season, or if he’ll be a multi-season bad guy. Considering he’s almost entirely unlike the book character, it could go either way.
Anyway, as far as being like the books is concerned I’m far more interested about
Whether or not they’re going to break Sookie and Bill up by the end of the season, and reduce Bill’s role on the show after that given Bill isn’t really a focal character past book 3. Not to mention that
super-duper spoiler for the last two books in the series thus far
In the most recent books, Sookie is married (in a rather non-traditional way) to one of the guys already introduced on the show…and it’s not Bill
If they do, I think some people who have never read the books are going to be surprised and upset…but then, if they don’t, the upset is on many of the readers’ side
Those werewolves were fast and a challenge to a vampire only because they’d recently had vampire blood. Since Russell has gone bye-bye, physically and mentally, they aren’t getting fixed regularly. And Russell’s immediate bodyguard Weres are all dead now. Alcide killed Cooter, who was angry because Alcide had killed another one or two of the Weres with the van. Jessica drank Gus to death.
