I don’t normally read this section so I hope this fits the spirit of the forum.
The objective of this game is to try and link a random bit of childhood nonsense to some aspect of the Trump presidency.
One bright day, in the middle of the night
Two dead men got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And came and shot those two dead boys.
If you don’t believe this lie is true,
Go ask the blind man, he saw it too.
So the idea is to link this to some aspect of Trump’s presidency. Perhaps the “blind man” is Donald Trump? Maybe the “deaf policeman” is the Attorney General? Could it be that the two boys are “Justice” and “Democracy”?
The idea is to come up with a theory that makes the poem an allegory of Trump. Can you do it?
