I’m wondering how much experience the typical hardcore MAGAs have had with arrest and the judicial system. Rather a lot, I imagine, considering their temperament. How are they going to feel when they see their hero being handled with kid gloves compared to the experiences they are familiar with? Especially when Trump starts whining about little shit like getting ink on his cuff links. How’s that going to play with someone who’s experience was the humiliating process experienced by most people dragged before a judge?

There is a kernel of a point there. If we accept the facts as presented so far, Ms. Daniels did accept money from Trump to not talk about their affair. I haven’t seen any suggestion that she was forced or coerced into making that deal.
However,…
…if she is talking about it, I haven’t heard her. Plenty of other people are talking, like Michael Cohen, but I don’t know if Stormy Daniels has broken the deal.
…even if she did, that doesn’t justify death threats. The only victim of her breaking the deal would be Trump. It’s distressing, but not surprising, that people not directly involved in the situation would be so in Trump’s thrall that they would do this.
…Trump has gone back on his word so many times that I will shed not a single tear if someone has broken a promise to Trump.
…wouldn’t it be hysterical to see Trump try to recover his money from Stormy Daniels. What’s he going to do, sue her?

I’m afraid to let myself enjoy this too much. He needs to be prosecuted on the Georgia election interference and stolen documents cases, for one thing. Plus I’m not sure if it will really happen on Tuesday. Based on just pure speculation, I’m wondering if they’re faking us out with the Tuesday date. Or he may decide not to cooperate after all and try to force DeSantis to protect him somehow. It could turn into a whole mess and take months just to get him to present in NY. I bet no one would even arrest him if he traveled to another state for a rally, especially if to a red state.
