Trump indicted

The sweet, sweet tears of Republicans.

Trump is going to play this straight. Next week he will fly up to New York for the arraignment. At some point in the flight, the plane will hit some turbulence and out of an abundance of caution will be diverted to Moscow.

Yes, obviously.

In any case, the political effects are secondary - if Trump isn’t held accountable, that will be far more damaging to America than if he is. Even if it helps him win (for the record, I don’t think it will).

CNN is saying sources indicate Trump is facing over 30 counts of business fraud.

Those numbskulls are already going to vote for him. Whether or not he wins the primary. Whether or not he’s convicted, anything. He’s got those votes. They can’t vote more.

Or so we hope. Volunteer to be a poll worker in an upcoming election, just to be on the safe side.

Sounds like this reaches far beyond Stormy.

Is that, “Liar” or “Celebrate?”

I’m 65. No way I’ll still be around.

Also many of them live in states with felony disenfranchisement.

The real victim here is Al Franken.

He was rightly pissed that Trump wasn’t indicted while he was guest host of The Daily Show. Think about what he could have done. (John Leguizano, this week’s host, may not even get a chance, since the news probably broke too late to change today’s taping.)

More seriously, 30 counts of business fraud utterly changes the game. No more is it a minor change that no one bothers to bring to court. Fraud is a big-time offense.

Yet it’s still only prep for what’s coming, the first of four horses.

I’m hoping this indictment provides the cover that Georgia and the Feds need to get a move on (assuming there are indictable crimes in those jurisdiction).

Stolen. Thanks

4D chess move. Talk about Stormy. Talk about one month hiatus. Nail 'em with the Trump Organization financial crimes and Bob’s your uncle.

Stormy should come out with a statement that although there was a hush money thing, the sex was phenomenal. Would he deny it?

But if we do, it means he’ll be harder to see, and I’m okay with that.

Okay, that’s more like it. Still not as important or worthy of celebration as indictment for subverting democracy, but a hell of a lot more so than for paying off paramours.

I have a friend named Bob. He has a sister who is married with kids. I brought up once that if I were them, I would use that phrase anytime I was explaining anything. They said it never occured to them.

Let us hope so.

Good point, well taken.
