Trump is a whiny little bitch man child

Many of Trump’s supporters associate him with Christianity, so…

This is all true, of course. But even if it wasn’t …

Anticipating how the media will treat your words and actions is a crucial skill in being a politician. If you’ve given the media rope to hang you with and as a result have undermined your own ability to drain the swamp or take back government or whatever your supposed goal is, then you’ve failed as president, even if it’s true that you’re being treated unfairly.

[This is true of Republicans generally. The media is biased against Republicans. But as a Republican that doesn’t get you off the hook. You need to appreciate that and then consider your words and actions and act in the way that would be most effective in that environment. Ignoring it and failing and then complaining that it’s not fair that you failed doesn’t cut it.]

Why?

I’m very much of the opinion that people who voted for Trump should not be allowed to vote again. Obviously, this causes more problems than it solves, is a constitutional catastrophe, is illegal, blah blah blah. If you stood up on November 8th and said, “You know what, I think Donald Trump would be a good President”, in a just world, you wouldn’t just lose the franchise, you would get your ass sectioned.

And yet you clearly have learned nothing from the copies, so I guess we’ll keep making them.

Moron.

Alternative hypothesis: the media treats the republican party more than fairly, the republican party is just so batshit crazy that it still looks like the republicans don’t get a fair shake.

Exhibit A: Donald fucking Trump runs the party.
Exhibit B: Climate change denialism.
Exhibit C: Since this article was published, do you reckon things have gotten better or worse?
Exhibit D: Look at how major “right-wing” news networks covered the news that Trump shared Codeword classified intel with russians. Or just “right-wing” “news” in general.
Exhibit E: Compare and contrast: the benghazi non-scandal vs. everything we’ve seen over the last week

If you’re legitimately pushing the lunatic fringe, the strongest tool in your arsenal is the constant refrain of “everyone who criticizes us is biased”. And if most watchdog groups are trying hard to give off the impression of bipartisanship, they will bend over backwards to give you and your batshit fucking crazy ideas a fair shake, no matter how unreasonable that is. A party that is this fucking unmoored and insane has no right to complain when the press rightfully calls bullshit on their crap.

McKinley, Garfield, Lincoln, Kennedy… and that’s just a particular subset of American Presidents.
Expand it out to worldwide and history - he’s not even close to the worst.

That said, he decided to argue with people who buy ink by the barrel - that’s right up there with land war in Asia on a list of bad ideas.

Eh, uniqueness is not all that special.

Think of this thread as the essence, the distillation, if you will, of all the other Trump threads, indeed, of all the stories, articles, tweets, posts, conversations, speeches, etc., that have been, are being, and will be written/spoken about Der Trumpster. This thread is a one-stop-shop.

AND he decided to diss people who find out secrets FOR A LIVING.

Even setting aside the obvious cases of assassination and other physical assault, the fact is that for much of American history (to say nothing of world history) political vituperation was dished out to an extent that makes most modern mudslinging* look like an episode of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

*In the mainstream media, anyway. Obviously, the Internet’s power to send voices around the world where they once reached only to the end of the bar has had unfortunate side effects in this regard.

Technically, evangelicals’ attempts to paint him as “a good Christian man” are an example of the last.

Here is a telling observation that supports OP Chimera .

I like the cut of your jib

Yeah, from what I’ve heard of early american politics Trump hasn’t seen anything yet, and never will. He’s just a big goddamned baby who thinks that the stubbing his toe has received is the worst injury ever in the world ever.

When a public figure spends years trying to prove that Trump isn’t an American, maybe then I’ll start feeling sorry for him.

If you actually listen to what he said (and why would you?) he references “the media” as who he is talking about.

And Lincoln was baked clean by the media of his day on a regular basis. So were a lot of other politicians.

Anyone with an IQ of more than 95 knows that they’re going to be severely tested and severely criticized as President of the United States. It comes with the territory. Donald Trump clearly did not, nor does he currently, more than 100+ days into the office, appear to understand this.

Previous presidents have also been both intelligent and experienced enough to maintain a sense of decorum and dignity under fire. Donald Trump possesses neither and doesn’t appear to be getting any hints.

I’m pretty sure Bill Maher has the ASCAP rights to the WLB appellation.
Even though 45 is president, maybe he’ll still try to sue Maher over the old orangutan rub.

His immediate predecessor and his opponent, for example.

But, of course, the Narcissist in Chief wasn’t the one being called a terrorist and a murderer, so it doesn’t count.

Not so fast. Franklin Graham has called him a Christian…

You’d think he’d want them to be on his good side. They’re the ones who’ll have to look the other way every time he needs a few shipments of coke to re-stock his golf courses.

sniff

Hijack: What are you talking about? ASCAP administers the rights of copyright owners—specifically, composers, songwriters, and music publishing companies—in musical compositions. It has nothing to do with rights in “appellations” (that is, “names”).

Looks like he got his hands on his phone.

Fucking whiny little bitch.

Oops - maybe I’m getting it mixed up with BMI.:stuck_out_tongue:
Didja hear any sorta windy sounds above you after you wrote that?
