Trump is going to be our next President. I feel sick.

Oh, fuck off. You dipshits that think you know everything about me are really a bunch of annoying, childish twits.

You want a quote? Here’s one for ya:

Near parity is a clear message if the candidate is someone like Trump.

Okay, fine. By voting for Trump and Pence, you make abundantly clear what you value and don’t value, where you stand on whether health care is a luxury or whether gay conversion therapy works or whether climate change is real or any one of a number of issues. And that’s fine for you. But please stop pretending that anyone else’s lives besides yours is going to improve, assuming you care. Maybe the poor people with preexisting conditions don’t deserve to be treated or have money. Maybe gay teenagers should be sent to camps by their parents whether they want it or not. Maybe global warming is a hoax.

But you can’t then be surprised that those people, and any other who disagree, think you’re heartless or homophobic or whatever, and say so. Don’t cry about your hurt feelings. What sort of response do you expect? “You disagree with my fundamental humanity and don’t care about my suffering, but gosh darn it, I respect your point of view!”

Doesn’t that strike you as absurd?

You think I care about how powerful America is? Yeah, America is going to continue having a big army because guns and apple pie. I don’t give a shit about that. I’m talking about an America where all the smart people are supposed to live because it provides opportunity and a better way to live. I am talking about an America that even if it didn’t always get it right, still tried to do the right thing. Who the fuck is sure that you guys care about doing the right thing now? You have a con man for a president who thinks a treaty is only good if it turns a profit and a hateful zealot as a vice pres who thinks same sex relations should be illegal. All the decks in the government are now stacked with people who will legislate against sexual freedoms and against the colour of a persons skin or the sound of their accent. Against the advance of science because a magical man in the sky. I’m not predicting doom. I’m predicting isolationism.

Keep telling yourself the world needs you, because It could very well be that right now everybody else is laughing and coming up with ways to forget you even exist. I would rather send my children to grow up in Indonesia or China than America right now.

I know right. How fucking dare people have a different opinion then us. And then, and then, those goddamned cocksuckers go and vote. What the shit you racist misogynist rednecks? You don’t have the right to vote.

Fuck you old man. I hope you go bankrupt, lose your medical insurance, and have to watch your family slowly sicken from an easily treatable disease.

Saying “fuck you” to other posters is a violation of the Pit’s language rules. Please avoid this in the future.

You know how yesterday you were a sad failure of a man. And AM radio and email forwards told you your failures were the fault of the liberals. And you believed them because you wanted to blame anyone other than yourself for your failures? And yet when you woke up this morning you were every bit the failure you were when you went to sleep?

That’s because the liberals didn’t cause your problems, and President Pussygrabber won’t fix them.

If that is a response to a random Trump supporter it’s probably inaccurate. Until liberals stop acting so pompous and holier than thou while still being corrupt when in office they won’t understand the motivations of a large percentage of those who did vote for Trump. I suppose all the women, minorities, etc that voted for Trump are self-loathing for leaving the progressive hive-mind? Or maybe they have reasons valid to them. You can use rhetoric to win friends or make enemies.

I feel kind of sad about it, like I would about a person who jumped off a bridge to avoid a murderer, deciding to risk the fall… only there wasn’t actually a murderer in the first place.

You do have the right to a different opinion; you don’t have the right to not have it pointed out to you that it’s a stupid-ass opinion.

That’s what they said in 1933 in Germany. Most of my family on my fathers side died in the camps. Because, you know, Germans said it was just doom laden hyperbole.

Apologist deniers will keep right on denying.
Doesn’t mean they are right.
Just means they are afraid, for now, to stand up in the public square and scream out the loathe some vitriol that is bottled up inside of them.

Within a few weeks of winning the White House, President-elect Donald Trump could face another group of U.S. citizens, a federal jury in California, courtesy of a lawsuit by former students of his now-defunct Trump University who claim they were defrauded by a series of real-estate seminars.
A hearing in federal court in San Diego is set for Thursday, and the trial is scheduled to begin on Nov. 28.

In other news…

Top supporters of President-elect Donald Trump threw cold water on his campaign promise to put Hillary Clinton in jail Thursday, saying it was time to unite the country and move forward.

Trump and his Democratic opponent had “an enormously gracious conversation with each other Tuesday night.”

“One thing is we try to get over the anger and everything else about an election after it’s all over. We want to put it behind us, and I don’t like to see America become a country in which we prosecute people about politics,” Rudy Giuliani said.

In early October, Trump promised to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton and her use of a private email server while secretary of state if he were elected president.
“I didn’t think I’d say this but I’m going to say it, and I hate to say it, but if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception, there has never been anything like it and we’re going to have a special prosecutor,” Trump said, adding that when he is in power, Clinton would be “in jail.”
But since his win, Trump has been more conciliatory.

– NO JAIL

So all you “Hillary Haters” got played. He’s not going to arrest her. He can’t anyway, because ummm The Fucking Constitution.

The Trump team has also been walking back some of his other big, popular promises. Building a giant wall on the border with Mexico will “take awhile.” – NO WALL

As in never. Sorry bigots, you got played again.

The promise to enact a ban on Muslims from entering the United States has also now disappeared from his website. – NO RACE WAR.

Sorry again, bigots.

I wonder how Breitbart, InfoWars and Stromfront will feel when ALL THIS sinks in.
I still despise Trump. he stands for nothing - no values, no standards, no system of ethics. He won by stirring up an cashing in on the basest human urges. He has always been a scumbag. HE stirred up the anger he says we need to get past. Fuck him.

But in an interesting twist, he has revealed those among us who are even worse. Maybe we should thank the son of a bitch for that.

That’s mighty reasonable of them. Hillary had better hope their desire for national unity doesn’t evaporate five minutes after Trump takes office.

We will see.
