I’ve mentioned before that the psychological projection of Trump and his supporters is just mind boggling.

Hey, Flyer, how would you describe:

1. Admitting your campaign promises were just BS to get you elected.
2. Using your charity for personal benefits.
3. Not releasing your taxes
4. And talk about pay-for-play, giving key administration positions to your biggest donors.
5. Not bothering to receive the daily intelligence briefing because you’re too smart
6. Having an ego and vanity so yuge that you say your own failure to win the popular vote is because the election was tainted by fraud.
7. Not knowing what the stripes on the US flag stand for.

I could go on, but I actually have shit to do.

I’ve pretty much stopped expecting any kind of sensible and reasoned explanation from Trump supporters about why they voted for that orange ass-clown.

At best, as Flyer so helpfully demonstrated, Trump is simply the convenient tool (heh!) with which to beat Hillary and those librul elites. It’s more important for them to take their revenge on the libruls than stop, think and realize that they are actually voting against their own interests by voting for the one guy who least gives a fuck about them or anyone other than himself.

Trump used, and he’ll continue to use and manipulate them as a means for his own ends. Worst yet, when the chickens come home to roost and they find themselves worse off than they were in 2016, they’ll howl and gnash their teeth at those same libruls while continuing to defend their toddler’s tantrum vote.

Maybe I’m wrong and maybe Flyer can provide a reasoned explanation for his position. I’ll wait and see. But I won’t hold my breath while doing so.

This. I’ve yet to hear an intelligent defense of Trump. I hear lots of deflecting, changing the subject, and rubber-glue type stuff, but nothing that an intellectually sound, mature, thoughtful adult can support. And I know exactly what the reason is: Trump’s behavior, even before being sworn in, is indefensible.

I voted for Trump because progressives made me feel stupid, racist, misogynist and socially retarded for refusing to accept that the country and the world I understand is not static, and that I must adjust, grow and find new coping strategies in order to continue to thrive in it. It was great before all these changes happened and Trump has promised to make it great again for me by putting things back the way they were. I don’t care how he does it, or at whose expense, or at what cost, or what consequence, or even if it’s an achievable objective. I just want someone to tell me what I want to hear. Trump did that. So I voted MAGA!
